Seller Instructions
1. 10% of your sales MUST go to a non-profit organization of your choice. Please send your receipt from the donation to theclosetcleanseyyc@gmail.com at the end of your takeover. It will be added to the 'highlights' page on our account.
2. Takeovers are currently 3 days long (Monday - Wednesday or Thursday - Saturday) so please spread your posts out evenly over these 3 days as to not clutter people's feeds.
3. It costs $1 per item you post (not per item sold). E-transfer this amount before your takeover to theclosetcleanseyyc@gmail.com.
4. There is a maximum of 30 items and posts (1 post per item), please choose your items carefully. If the item was less than $30 originally, please consider donating this item instead of selling on the closet cleanse. $10 is the minimum list price for items, going upward in increments of $5 for ease of cash and e-transfer.
5. You can list your items for as much as you think they're worth, but please note; if they are too much, they may not sell.
Buyer Instructions
1. First to comment on the post wins. Seller will confirm winner by commenting "sold to @___"
2. You may comment "second" and "third", because it may not work out for the initial buyer. Please note: the first comment is obligated to purchase, if you change your mind, you must first purchase from the seller and sell on your own to someone who commented second or third.
3. All sales are final. Failure to comply will have you removed from the account.
4. Buyers will be contacted by the seller through direct message on Instagram to close the sale. The includes payment and pick-up/delivery/shipping.
5. Payment can be made via e-transfer to the seller the moment you claim your item to secure the sale. The seller will not deposit the funds until the item is picked up or has been shipped with proof of shipment. Some sellers accept cash at time of pick-up.
6. Make sure you read and follow these rules, and also read the seller's intro post as they may have specific instructions on payment and pick-up/delivery/shipping of their items.
7. Know your rights as a buyer! If an item is not as described, or has any unmentioned flaws, you are not obligated to purchase. The seller is responsible for taking clear photos and writing accurate descriptions as there are no 'try-on's' and this Instagram community is built on trust!
